Kinda like the argument as long as company vans, trucks etc arent penalised.........extra duty on fuel would crucify businesses

Good point, and being a business owner with vehicles I would of course be penalised and feel the pain.
I suspect it's not quite as easy as it may appear which is why you can't please all of the people all of the time.

Won't happen - all X drivers within 2 years will pay £650 per simply because they sit higher than saloon drivers

Damn it, will just have to fit 13" rims and chop the roof.........
Actually, they must be tall as a friend of ours almost fell out of the car today as she didn't realise it was a higher position than her Chrysler Voyager.
