Don't knock caravanning until you have tried it
I have spent many nights living out of a suitcase in hotels while working on exhibitions and much prefer the freedom of caravans
The modern caravan is just as nice as any hotel not like the tin boxes of 20 years ago

The fixed bed is brilliant we used to have a 2 berth but found making the beds up a bit of a pita and not very comfortable.
I used to think the fixed bed caravans wasted a lot of space but if you see what is stored under the bed it is definately the best layout for us.
We are off to Cheddar in the morning in the caravan so that is our 5th trip this year so are getting our use of it. :D
