Welcome along Sandybandy OMG thats huge !
There seems to be quite a lot of caravanners on here these days.
This is my 1st attempt at uploading pictures from photobucket so I hope it works
Here is my outfit

I was parked in the motorway services the other day and my car and caravan was as long as the artic next to it.
I think our van is about as big as they get on a single axle but I dont get any stability problems unlike when I was towing with my 330i
I cant have anything bigger as it wont fit in my front garden.

1. That's coz the 'X's' are such good 'tugs' - when we looked recently and the man asked what I would be towing with and I told him, he said you can tow anything we have - and they do everything (except traveller wagons). No idea how the X6 would do as a tractor (no advice pvr!!), but it's only an E70 with a tarty top and has all the same electronics with just a more clever back axle/slipping diff thingy.

2. Piccie upload is perfect.

3. My front garden isn't that big!!

The nice thing about the X is that it is still a capable road car when not towing ( unlike disco's and rovers!)
The only plus point the Land Rover sales man could find was that their vehicle was better off road. Sorry but 99.999% of my driving is road based apart from siting the caravan in someone's field. What badge would I rather have on th bonnet, BMW or Land rover hmmm let me think!

Exactly, couldn't have put it better myself.
Welcome along. That sure is a good size wheely box you have on the back. I love the colour of the X and those wheels really look good.
Just need a few more numbers to come up (6 would be good) then I can get me one of them E70's too.

Good luck spending that, no (or little) fuel around here.

Took me three stations to find some whilst on the road at lunchtime
Station by my office had Qs all pm and when I drove past just now, many pumps empty and the esso is also closed
