We clearly have both got very good taste in cars

We had a '06' e91 330d MSport before we swapped it for the e53
and before the e91 a e46 330cd vert as per X5Sport

We certainly look at cars in a similar way, i agree we clearly have good taste in cars & we like the bmw marque.
I could just do with you buying a f10 M5 then i can follow suit!!

Your right, i couldnt afford the fuel on the x5 so what chance would i have with an m5!!
That F11 550xd m did look awesome when i read about it in bmw car magazine, we never seem to get the great motors in the uk.
Powerful diesels seem to be the way forward nowadays & its understandable they offer the best of both worlds

Sounds like e61's are to be included in the recall. Speaking to dealer today and he said 2 cars in Germany had caught fire

Oh dear, this will teach me to swap the x5 for something cheaper to save money & end up buying a duffer.
Its the only car ive bought with my head & not my heart it serves me right.
Gutted.

Lee, it's a quick fix that just involves adjusting the way the cables lie in the boot to stop the insulation wearing through. You haven't bought a 'duffer'..
Think positive - you've got a much better 'search and loiter radius' looking for fuel than you had before..
And probably a smaller tank that will take you a LOT further..

Completely agree with X5Sport. These things happen and it's a good excuse to get a free coffee

Lee let's face it, near on 700 mile range from a full tank from our cars compared with 400 miles out of the V8's if you were lucky, no contest mate

I do like a coffee when i go to the dealer so all is not lost!
I am still amazed by the economy from the engine, i am just not used to it, its nice to not have to fill up every other day!!
cheers.
