Ok, let's bring this back to my minute of joy please...... Car arrives tomorrow at 9ish and to keep in with the petrol crisis the garage phoned me today to ask that I leave something other than fumes in the Navara! I wonder if the 5 comes with a full tank!????
Pics will be posted soonest but as I like the quirky (nav with spots etc, Suzy vitara dakkar and gorgeous 996) it is pretty standard!
So, one more sleep and it'll be Christmas day in the shire!

Unless you have paid for a full tank or agreed during the sale it won't come with one. As for fueling the Navara, I wouldn't go out of your way  TBH

And yes do check your new pride and joy over very carefully and take your time. Goo luck and hope all goes well

Have fun with the new arrival.. :D

My BMW Dealer puts £30 of fuel in at delivery - for which you are of course charged.....

Hopefully the mania will have eased a little and you'll be able to explore the world with your new toy.

Just a quick update.....
It was like Christmas day on Saturday and 9.15 ish the driver called for a final talk in to the shire, ten minutes later she rocks up with driving lights a blazing looking wide and clean!
We swapped cars after a good look round, think here was here hair scratches which are minor and it is 4 years old. Is a little gouge on the off side passenger door handle inside which again is liveable. Everything else was good and smelt like that new smell you only get from a garage ( can't even buy that smell at Halfords or off eBay!)
After he Navara it looks small from most angles, being sad I did look at the diameters and Beemer is almost a meter shorter in length, 1 mm shorter and a good 20 cm wider, very true as I can't touch the other side when seated.
I had forgotten how complicated a Beemer is, but thirty mins later just about mastered the I drive again, done the phone ( and I had read up hat some iPhones had difficulties connecting but paired it first time and when using he iTunes can still use the hands free so not sure what he fuss is about?
A thirty minute spin and have decided it's like a sofa on steroids, superb, quite superb how you drive a two tonne vehicle like a hot hatch. Spent the weekend doing every chore that was required as long as it meant driving. Have found the white elephant though, think it has been fitted with he wrong computer as sure it's been lifted from an MX5, the mpg is reading 22/23 mpg...... I'd love to meet the twinkle toes who managed to hit the stats in the Beemer literature !
Superb all the same. Pics when I can. Thanks for he warm welcome to the site and hope not to pester with daft questions (almost needed to ask where the aux plug was, but wife put me straight..... Joy!) I'm a happy :driving:

Hi Flog

Those last nights are the worst but I found the ones after, where you know you should be sleeping but you want to be driving just as bad

Congrats
