i got a new one that was broke when i got it the packet so i re fitted the old one, and the warning light wont go off

The old one won't work lol it'll be an open circuit now which is why it won't go off. Get the new one replaced and youll be fine

Once the sensor gets worn down by the disc it breaks the loop and the light comes on.

i will get the faulty sensor changed and fit it at weekend
