RE: Tyres... I have just replaced a full set with Toyo Proxes. Decided on them as the Diamaris I always put on didn't even last 10k this time so thought there was no herm in trying a different manufacturer.

Did you ever re-map or change the exhausts? A tasty little mod I would like to do is the X-Pipe on the Exhaust.

I have the Magnaflow X-pipe fitted to mine. Looking to do the rest too if ever finances allow.

great help there guys..........do you know anywhere that would do this and how far can we go with the exhaust???? is there one purchasable on the market thats made for the X5 4.8, only ask as theres nothing on the internet I can find.

Or does it have to be custom......Also am unsure about how great the ECU's are in these cars even though I do race if I ever mess with gases for my car it always requires a remap as its turbocharged but am unsure about the X5????

All I'm after is an nice more throaty sounding exhaust and a remap...........after that I want to keep the car in good working order and clean

How did you get on with Raj at Profusion?

When I was last down he told me that he had a customer drive over from France who basically went straight through (so no boxes at from the catback. He said is was mental but certainly couldn't be lived with on a day to say basis.

All booked in for the 10th of feb mate...........will discuss sounds on how I'd prefer it when I arrive.

I think I'm gonna go for the more deep deep throaty associated with V8's.

I've heard some on youtube sound more like M3's but am not after that.
