Would be interested to know how the audio upgrade goes, both I terms of the install of the front focals as well as sound after tuning.
I have bit one as well as a most fibre adaptor to allow full dig input to the audison which I never got round to installing in the e61 but might be tempted to explore using it in the e70.
Not managed to find many with upgraded audio beyond the factory options to hear what can be achieved.

Hello & welcome, superb collection of motors i love them.
I can see why you upgraded the brakes on your 4.8 x5 as i think mine are nothing short of useless & thats with plenty of life in the pads & discs!!
You defo have the modding bug, thanks very much for sharing & enjoy

Looking at those brakes I'd be worried that if he hit the emergency stop button the undercarriage would stop dead and the rest of the car would continue en route so to speak......

hi had a similar set up in my 7. We have found that you can fit the 5.25 focal slimline in the fronts so I have gone for those. More then happy for you to pop round and have a listen when i get it back

You should have a Labrador.....they eat theyre dinner like its their last meal and then go and hunt for more.......chocolate one lost his bits at about 3 when he ate my other halfs gps watch......yellow one at 6 because we got fed up of chasing him after wandering out the park.
Loving the brakes......would like to do something like that but dont know how it would affect the warranty. Do you find the abs kicks in any quicker?

not sure about warrenty TBH but I've never been one to really bother about it (but i have kept all the old stuff so I Can could swap it over after work one day if need be.
I havent really tested the brakes in anger yet so I cant comment on the ABS i'll do a check and report back
I'll just make sure no one is behind me lol!
