need to have a chat with jason i think.......annoyingly my old e53 3.0d on roughly the same kinda journey did 29.7mpg! And i thought the new ones were supposed to be more fuel efficient :fuelfire:

How much is it at the moment? We're going soon so would help to know if it would help the coffers to arrive in Calais empty.

Just paid 1.30 euro in NL for diesel, France more expensive than that.

€1.50 in France but that's on the motorways. Still cheaper than England and the exchange rate seems to be heading in the right direction....for those of us with £'s anyway.

Indeed, I have sold all my Euro holdings when Greece went splat, only keeping enough to get by over there.

I remember when it was about 150 to the pound :D so a long way to go yet :cry: But a big improvement nevertheless :)

Thanks - paid €1.46 for diesel in Dublin last week so sounds good.

We never use the motorway stations any more, I have the PGPSW POI database and use supermarkets which are close.
