E53 New Headlights c/w Angel eyes

Are they a direct fit or do you need bulb adapters? I have factory xenons in a facelift 3.0d

Cheers for the links. Would like to see a direct comaprison with an OE xenon bulb and the 75w ones to see if they are worth the cost.

I changed the number plate lights and front sidelights and they flicker like crazy as the system tests itself on start up, just for a few seconds though which i was told is normal.

Can you not cancel the bulb checks with your BMW scanner?

with the older bimmers you could just change the lkm and not worry about it but i don't know if that is possible with newer ones. not sure if it is possible to disable that option

Hi, I have the same problem. Bought 5W Xenon Angel Eyes on ebay. After installing them on my e53 have noticed that they blink fro 3-4 seconds in the beginning when I place the key into ignition. Very interested if you solved your problem and what is the outcome? Still confused whether it normal blinks or not. Appreciate any kind of help. Thanks!

The testing cycle blinks isn't an issue unless you are also getting an error message. The ones I have for sale don't actual do the test cycle flashing but all the others I have run or fitted for others have always flashed for a couple of seconds on start up.
