quick update

Took car to indy today, hes going to run a diagnostic check tomorrow but on inspection doesnt feel theres any drop in suspension, he thinks it could be the sensors got soaked yesterday when hubby power washed it? the fault hasnt showed up so far today. Ill know more tomorrow.

as above my last x5 was like this so i stuck with it and after a few £££ it was perfect, they are lovely cars and if you sell it you will do what i did.....look at everything going from sports cars to 4x4s and end up with the same car different colour combos and 5 year newer!! my self level sensor on my other x5 went in the cold i think the small plastic arm snapped after freezing, the car looked/drove perfect but said "self level sus inact" on dash display, if it is a sensor its cheap and easy to fit and a fault code reader will pick it up instantly!

Update

Well it turned out to be a small crack in the sensor, as I have to drive to Devon tomorrow for Xmas, they didn't have time to order a new one so I have to take it in when I get back. They said it would be safe to drive. Hopefully keys will work again after a good run and charge.
