And it I ever have to do it again I know how to fit them properly now. Advice for anyone changing the top vents, to get the old ones out, separate the two parts by very carefully easing the tabs underneath but to put them back, put the two parts together then press in SQUARELY from the top. It took me a bit to realise this as when I tried to take on out the way it goes in, most of the tabs snapped off the lower leaf grill (£15 replacement). I then separated the parts which avoided this on the second one however when I went to put them back in the way I took them out I was pulling my hair out until I realised the right way was to put the two pieces together and ease in from the top - I warmed the parts in hot water first just to make them less brittle.

It took me a few looks to get used to them but looking at the pics I think they really suit it and are much better than the dulling black ones that were on.

I think the only other exterior option I would consider (apart from the Wesfalia towbar that's fitted) is one of those skid plates as I think they suit a silver car and freshen up the front. I would like to fit white LED angel eye bulbs too but as I'm on the main dealer warranty scheme I've steered clear.

Led bulbs are fine for warranty, they are only bulbs that clip in - no big deal and will not invalidate your warranty.

Ok, great. I did have some saved in my ebay watched items but they've expired. Do you happen to have a link to what are the best value for money available?
