Hi Guys

I was looking at the 1.4.0 scanners bundles from China on fleabay and noticed that all the descriptions say "unlocked" functions (with the inverted commas).... so question I have is.... are these fully functioning versions of the software or are they just demo versions that still need unlocking??

thanks

Can anyone confirm if these are worth buying (ie are they locked or fully functioning??)?

Post a link up... I'm sure it means a certain function of the device is locked unless you solder a wire across 2 pins or something if I remember correctly. I paid £35 for mine and it works brilliantly

Hi Dirtymonkey

I was looking at the same one as you think you got from obd.master, but all the descriptions from the chinese sellers at the similar £35-40 all have almost identical cut and paste descriptions with "" around the "unlocked" functions... if yours is fully unlocked and working I reckon i'll just order the same

Don't know what it's known as to look for on eBay but it looks like a little box with the obd plug on it and then you be connected an A to B usb cause between that and your pc. I got my own with the application.

Ordered mine from the same seller on eBay. Arrived quickly and I installed last night.

Powerful piece of software if you know how to use it.

Enabled aux heating last night. Works a treat. Also enabled anti hijack on my e53 and my mates e46.

Need to look into it a bit more for more tweaks etc

I believe mine isn't unlocked as I cannot get any live data on the DME page.

Any ideas?
