besides this sub install i just placed orders for carbon fiber look interior film, the foot pedal covers, LED interior light upgrade and the full rear wiper arm. i have received an e mail from the companies that i found the LEd tail lights from and they said they were error free. i am trying to get a better pricing from them and if i do i will share the link with whoever wants to upgrade to LED tail lights. i also asked them if only the stop and brake lights LED or all the lights on the cluster LED..i hope all of them are LED if not i have to replace the bulbs with LED bulbs to match them all to LED.

Well done on the mods mate - weird how I got the SAME mods as YOU!
Small world!
What was the price on the CF film (3M Di-Noc I hope)- think that's a link I didn't get to send your way. Be patient and use a hair dryer.
And are the pedals gonna be black or stainless?
Rear lights are LED for the brake and side lights, the indicator and inner ones are standard bulb (usually).

i got the film for £18 shipped and the pedals are going to be black. i got those for £60 shipped. i used a different source than i linked earlier. for the tail lights i am going to dig and find the led bulbs i had ordered for my chrysler pacifica to fit.i really don't want to take a chance to have a blown bulb to change after fitting the sub box

as promised the subwoofer is in, amp is hooked up and IT IS ALIVE!!! everything works as should be all i have to do is fine tuning the sound and better secure the amplifier as it sits behind the bracket where the CD changer would go.i haven't messed with the fine tuning yet as i got done at midnight, it still sounded better..once i have all in good working order and secure i'll take some pics and post them as well.
i would like to thank both sanj and X555 once again for the info and the supplies
i also installed the rear wiper arm and blade replacement ( thanks to SANJ again for source) now the next thing after finishing up the amp adjustments will be the HID upgrade to 75W kits on dip beam and the fogs.
does any one have any info how to uninstall the oem HID ballast? i have not messed with the oem one before so any info would be appreciated before i take out the headlight assemblies to find out there might be a special way to take them off.
hopefully by the time i finish with the HIDs i will have the supplies for the pedal upgrade, carbon film for the interior and the LED lights for interior lighting in the mail..
by friday the LED tail lights will be ordered as well. i think that will be the last touch on the upgrades for now.
well happy motoring everyone !!

where are you at? as far as the supplies goes ,i got everything from stateside and i believe that i got everything for the price of a sub woofer speaker in UK. i paid 105 quid for the pioneer shallow mount sub, pyramid arctic series 2 channel 1000W amplifier and the BOSS amplifier wiring kit which has all the wiring you need for installation. as i said in other posts if you need help getting stuff from stateside let me know i can get them without the hassle of custom fees.

Liking what you've done with the sub. I don't have DSP on mine either and it needs some more oomph. Once I get the BM54 fully operational again, I'll start following your thread a little closer
"update on the gearbox ". What update might that be?
Cheers.

it made a huge change on the sound. i did adjust the amp a little bit but still not quite there yet. i need another person to get it the way i want it. my only issue right now if that my sub speaker sticks out slightly so when i close the cover it bounces against the cover and rattles so i keep that open for not till i figure out to make it fit flushed. also another thing i noticed that if i turn it up a little more than usual that the fuel door rattles so i need to make that a little tighter to stop rattling. other than i love the way it sounds. i now reliaze what a difference the subwoofer makes.
the gearbox update is a software update that jason did for me. it was supposed to help with the lurching i have been experiencing recently but after the software update and the gearbox flush i did not see much of a change on the lurching issue. on the software itself i believe Jason would be the person to explain.
