Cut it carefully and keep the removed plastic part if needed you can glue it back in if ever required but to be honest what's left of the frame will still support the original parts anyway.
Just take your time with the cutting and make sure you centre and align your stereo in the facia and brackets before slotting into the dash, it's very easy.
