well just phoned the original indy i used to use 50mile away today, he was very helpful though never seen this before, going to order a full set of goodridge braided brake lines from deemontweeks tmoro (there are some slighlty cheaper on ebay but deemontweeks is reputable) and re order another master cylinder from motor factors, take these with me so he can complete it within the day, it has to be one/both of them parts or neither and they need bleeding properly! the braided lines should sort some brake fade, if you want a laf poned bmw and 4 flexis and a master cylinder oem is £540!! braided are £73 and master cylinders are £70 where do bmw get the prices from bin as tho both the items arent actually bmw anyway on oem parts

Fingers and Toes crossed for you :D

Most Dealers, BMW are no exception, charge a lot for spares as they make substantial sums out it. They are also a tad pricy for labour too - as you may have noticed. ;)

all done now, took it somewhere else 50mile away where i used to go, £70 later and its fixed, apparently still had a load of air in behind the master cylinder, so much for the original person that bled them and took me for £90, anyway its took its time but it still only stands me at £260 for all new brake pipes on the whole car and new flexis, just need to do an oil service in next 1k or so now, im not that bothered as ive done 12k miles in car since june and only had the brake pipe issue :D
