Hope we didn't ruin your sleep!

I blame PVR entirely because he still owes me lunch!

Lunch? The fact that I have lunch with my accountant does not mean I take any old accountant out to lunch :D

X5Sport - I "think" I understand what you are saying and I guess the conclusion is that I will continue to buy cars for cash ...

Believe you me, this is one occasion when I'm damn glad you did!! I would have made a complete arse of myself and been spectacularly burned. Have rechecked the Mini figures - and that one does work out. Good thing it does really, it's due in UK today!!

The X6 would really have been several steps too far!! So keep making good comments to anyone else that comes along with bright ideas - they may not actually be that bright (the ideas that is).

Are they not made in the UK? Obviously not as you mentioned that, but I thought there was a factory for them over here.

I wasn't aware that I had kept you up before

That was about the extent of my usefullness - you need the likes of x555 and Sanj for the useful technical stuff.

Right I'm off to wind somebody up (doesn't suit me being useful) ............Oi PVR ordered your beetle yet? :poke:

The Countryman is made in the old X3 factory by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria. All the others are UK built. The Countryman is built on a 1-series floor/chassis, so I guess it made more sense to make em there.

Typical accountant.

You did not buy anything, you did not spend any money and they still expect to be paid :D

On the OPs figures I make it £40k saving!

I have a new car to pay for so need all I can get. Btw when are you going to employ a decent accountant ?
