..........practical negatives nicely answered but I don't see any defence to the gimp convention look mate ;)

(this coming from the guy carrying a few extra lbs and about to get into his wetsuit before hitting the sea today  )
They won't let you in without the gimp mask........so I hear LOL

+1 for e39 M5. £15k gets you best in show. 2003 model will have nav, bluetooth, auto everything etc...and that engine! (again aware it's not a coupe).
6 series looks good but is very small in the back, been stuck there a few times and it's not much fun!
Cl55 still looks the business, if you can put up with the running costs.
random shout for you...3series coupe? the 330d or 335d are decent tourers, agile and also do 30-40mpg. £15k would get you a bmw used approved one.

I like the E39, but just fancy something different.

I've added the E55 AMG to the list now, more headroom than the CL and no ABC suspension to go wrong. £13K ges a 2004 model with all the toys.

I got dragged round furniture and appliance shops this morning, so I'm going shopping next weekend hopefully

Well, a deal has been struck and a deposit paid. I'm now the owner of an E55 AMG, being serviced and prepped next week for me to collect next Saturday. Damn it's fast!

Gotta love insurance, it's actually cheaper or me to insure the E55 than for my modified (but older, cheaper, less nickable, less powerful, slower) Volvo. Genius.

Or they thought that E55 AMG was just a numberplate :D

Just heard from the seller, the scratch and a small scuff on rear bumper are done, being serviced Thursday. Should pick it up Saturday morning.

Currently this is all I have...

You can see the size of the front brakes though, 360mm discs with 4-pot calipers.

The cars currently soaking wet, but have a cople of teasers, I'll do more later once it's dry (and hopefully in a more photogenic location than my driveway!)

Not much room here...
