Well, still without my purchase, now been a week

Called BMW yesterday, as they never call you. Changed the injector module, but after taking it on a 40 mile test drive the fault came back on the dash. Today they said they'll start changing all the injectors. One minute I think, well OK, at least I'm getting new parts on the X, but the other side is starting to wonder if I've got a wrong un. Telling them that I want my money back is starting to come to mind, as I have a 30 day money back guarantee, so if your not happy, or they didn't live up to your expectations. I think, though this will be harder than it sounds. Oh, well at least I have their 5 series to run around in

but would just like to have what I brought

Make sure you get 30 days from the day you finally take it home

Welcome from me as well.
Bit annoying all those issues, but it seems to be just the one (injector related or perhaps control box - which was my issue at the time). Diagnostics would show that though.
40 mile test drive seems rather a long one though ...

Well, finally got the nod to pick her up yesterday. Ended up having the injector rail module replaced, then all 6 injectors (one thing less to worry able!) Two mile down the road, one of the xenons blew
After blowing a gasket with them, they came round to the house today and replaced the bulb on the drive. So glad I brought from a dealer, as wouldn't have got this service, more replaced all the injectors. Apart from not calling back updating me, the dealers has been pretty good, just waiting for the service book.
I'll take a few pictures if the weathers OK over the weekend, and bore you with them. Finally looking forward to

the bloody thing

Hi
So glad you got it all sorted and the warranty is worth it's weight in gold. I had lots of expensive stuff replaced on mine in the first year and as frustrating as it is it's worth it! Happy driving and let's hope you get chance to drive it relatively trouble free

Cheers Sanj, God knows about it being rare, but when it came up when I was doing the daily trawl through the Thames Valley Trader, and BMW national website I was on the phone booking a test drive straight away...
Cheers Cognac.
Shadrack, not at the mo

funny though, when I went to look at it the BMW salesman said they could take it off if I didn't like the bar!! Also said it was £600
The bar goes virtually halfway underneath the car. I personally think it adds to the look, though some may disagree.
Anyway let the battle comence this week with the drivers seat...
