The tyres are Dunlop Grandtrek WT M2. The only reason I tend not to state prices is that sometimes people use the price you paid to bargain come resale time though I don't really see that as relevant. I paid £900. They were bought from BMW less than a year ago for £1,410 which I'm guessing was probably at a reasonable discount.
Glad you are happy Dan......perhaps not bargain of the year but clearly of good provenance

I personally don't worry posting prices I paid for stuff..... Just because I might do legwork &/or get lucky with the odd bargain it doesn't reduce the true value of it either in my ownership or should I choose to sell later.

If folk choose to not buy on here there's always ebay, PH or other classifieds.

That set should see you well through coming winter :)

Not the bargain of the century as you say but considering new tyres are around or over £200 each I think the price is fair. I can't find a scratch on them. The 17s I was going to buy would have worked out about £600 posted and though they apparently had only 3,000 miles of use they were 3 years old. Being a rarer I'm hopeful that they will hold their value pretty well if looked after (and I do look after things).

Well I got my 17"s ready for winter £160 for 4 alloys with Michelin tyres.... On closer inspection there winter m+s tyres with 4-5mm of tread which should see me through this winter and save me £600-£700 in rubber..... Result!!!

I'm similar to you dirtymonkey. I have just bought a set of 17's off ebay with Dunlop winter tyres on (6-7mm all round) for £190 with delivery from Spain!! I'm really pleased with that.
