I even had her on track up at Knockhill a few weeks ago (a charity trackday raising money for cancer research), it was pouring wet and I overtook 3/4 of the cars on track [/quote]

Ha ha - my buddies are going to Abbeville in November. I didn't want to go because surely it will be wet ! I may well go across in the X5 though to watch and if it gets quieter in the afternoon I may take the X on if I can !

I'm sure it will look much better than OK!

You will have to start a thread in the X6 section and give us some Photo's and a spec list... bet you can't wait to get your hands on it!

My new baby has arrived :driving:

I've deliberately not taken any pictures yet as I told the dealer not to wash it - I was going to detail it myself, and don't trust their car washes :headbang:

So far I'm on day 3 of the detail - had to take today and tomorrow off work to finish it - I'll post pictures once it's finished :D

(and I'll dig out some old pictures of the oil burner for 535dboy as well :P )

Looking forward to seeing the finished results. Nice to see someone actually buying an X6M who cares about it rather than it just being an accessory!

Loving the race car. Planning on doing my ARDs test next year, but not sure what to use it in yet. Something cheap :)

Here's some pics of the new motor. It was unfortunately after a 40 mile journey to work, so there is a little bit of muck on the car. Also, some ned had thrown an egg at my house window last night, and I didn't realise until lunchtime today that some of it had landed on the bonnet of the freshly zaino'd car :headbang:

When I left for work this morning, the car was frozen over so I didn't see it. I noticed it when I went to refuel at lunchtime today, and amazingly, with some water and a wash mitt, it was fine! I'd heard some horror stories about eggs and car paint, so I was dreading the worst. :o

Back to the pics...
