All positive battery connections are good.

I've looked for nearby Bosch centres and will visit one after my upcoming travelling.

If everything is plugged in with no loose wires then that’s the simplest option eliminated. After that it’s taking trim off and checking wires behind. No loose earth lines by any chance?

None that i saw.

The car has some history at a Mach 1Autocentre, a Bosch company, as well by coincidence. There's no invoice for the Bosch battery fitted in the car, but I'll check if they supplied and fitted one from its registration.

It will have to wait a while, though, other things have to take priority.

A good news and bad news day today. Noted elsewhere, BMW are going to pay for the angel eye bulb thats a SoB to to replace.

Bad news is, after 36hours at a Bosch Centre the non functional remote fob still doesn't work., they advised i needed a new key. However, this didnt stop a bloody monkey trying to force open a sealed key fob.

On my invoice is listed a key fob battery. I have written to the name supplied to me by reception staff.

Ironically i already have a new key which doesnt operate, lock/unlock either.

Well its one of those problems that is going to be a right pain but I hope you can get it sorted , its rarely as simple as the seller makes out otherwise they would have fixed it already :headbang:
