Nothing to be guilty about. Mine is on silent but it still accepts the call. He might have got DND switched on? That might reject a call but as I’ve never used it,and don’t know where it is I wouldn’t know. Some people just aren’t grateful. You showed genuine concern, and given the history you shared with us, your concern was valid. If it hadn’t been the police would not have attended. You did the right thing. Nothing to be sorry about.

Thanks for your support. I suppose if a person has issues of any kind, sometimes their actions are not normal, even sometimes irrational?

He was once a very active, knowledgeable contributor and highly regarded by many for his significant help to others. He seems to have completely withdrawn from everyday day life. Maybe that's what he needs for his own survival.

I guess this matter is now concluded regardless.
