Thanks for that, will be interesting to see how you get on with them, that would be a good option for me provided there is no risk to the car transmission as it’s still under the BMW extended warranty at present.

I published the Apollo/Vredestein spec sheet stating their tyres meet BMW requirements. Whether BMW would want to wriggle out of any obligations should a negative issue arise, is an entirely different matter of course.

Thanks I saw that, maybe I’ll try and send the spec sheet to bmw uk and see what they say
