Got mine done this morn , took 3 hrs and I can see a new plastic idler pulley just below alternator , bad new is my rear brake discs are rusty (I knew) and both front ballpoints have some play ( surprising as passed mot 3000 mile ago ) , that will be 1500 quid sir lol ! 
Ouch !!!! but they had nice tea and buns !
Saw a shiny new x5 40d for 550 a month and an x5 50d 850 a month , I guess the 50d must lose a lot more money than the 40d !
