If you ever do this again use the smaller drill bit first through all 3 layers then just do the first 2 again with the bigger drill.

If it’s possible can you see whether they run the long cable from the boot down the passenger or driver side, and take a few pics of your DAB aerial, gps aerial and microphone. You may as well blow the budget and go for the TV option as well then you can do a picture of the TV aerials for me!
Quite jealous really but if you see on another thread the amount of work I’ve just done underneath that’s cost £1200 you’ll understand why I’ve had to hold off for a month or two!

I ran my cable down the passenger side, took the seat out and back seat, think I read somewhere afterwards that drivers side is better, don't know why as I have absolutely no form of interference. The cabling for the HU was down the passenger side and I uplifted this so as I could mount the HU in the boot area above the DSP to keep the OBC facilities. I used the GPS aerial that came with the Dynavin and ran it up the L/H A pillar and as it's magnetised it sticks to the underside of the roof. Make sure, even if you haven't got it yet that you lay the cabling down for a reverse camera.

That’s interesting Henry thanks, I read that someone had extended the GPS aerial from the boot nav unit because the Dynavin one wasn’t as good but I think it was quite an old post, the one they supply now looks exactly the same as one for my tracker which seems to work very well even without a clear look at the sky
