I put a genuine one on about 2 years ago, not had any problems and I use it a lot, still clears the whole sweep. When I say genuine I mean from a breakers of an E70.

I've been had, had another look at mine and if that one in the picture is an E70 one then mine isn't. Mine is not kinked at the pivot point but straight out. more investigation required.

I really liked the straight one I had off eBay until it exploded in the car wash, if you find out what the straight one is off let me know!

My £9.45 rear wiper arm and blade has been in use for 6 weeks now, still wiping perfectly.
although it is for an E70, it is working perfectly on my 2002 E53.
Ebay item 152120452322. Still current item no. as of today.at £9.44.
