20 minutes on the glovebox.
Take out the passenger air vent cover.
Remove the cic screen bezel.
Remove the plastic access on the back of the glovebox.
Remove the passenger footwell cowling.
Push up the flocked liner of the glovebox from the footwell or air vent.
Remove the flocked filler on the right of the glovebox.
Remove the flocked perimeter bezel inside the glovebox you need a forked trim tool for this.
Be careful with the light in the glovebox it’s live because the glovebox is open obviously.
The same goes for the glovebox USB socket disconnect with care.
Now you have access to all the fixings.
14 screws in total I think............

1 on the vent
2 on the screen
1 on the glovebox filler
1 behind the glovebox access panel
2 inside the glovebox going toward the windscreen
4 inside the glovebox facing toward the passenger seat
3 under the footwell cowling

Take all the fixings out take pictures if you don’t have a good memory.
Separate the glovebox loom from the glovebox you will need a small pick to release the cable connection tab.

Then put the glovebox on a solid surface with a cloth or towel to protect the glovebox.
Slide the pin out of the glovebox hinge you will need a strong gripping pair of pliers.
Release the tapered interference washers from the locking hinge pivot point separate the pivot point.
Now you can release the trim panel from the glovebox.
Attach the new trim panel and reassemble in reverse then you are done.

Now wipe the tears away, get the better half to clean your cuts and grazes, cry some more when the TCP starts to burn, apply the Elastoplast to your injuries, take some photos post them on here, give yourself a pat on the back and, crack an alcoholic beverage rejoice in your victory!!!

TOOLS NEEDED

Dumpy screwdriver or ratchet
Torx bits for screwdriver
Phillips bits for screwdriver
Forked trim tool
Pick for tab
Strong pliers

Good luck!

Sam
