Cracking job there, it’s looking great.  I hope the weather doesn’t ruin that for you with you first drive!

I’m just glad I didn’t spend all that time cleaning it!  :))

Lovely car and space grey hides the dirt very well (speaking as a previous owner) My "carbon black" one just looks dirty 5 minutes after washing!
Current: M50i arctic grey (G05)
Previous: RRS P400 HST, F15 M50d,F15 30d Msport, E70 35d Msport, 530i, Boxster, 330Ci Sport Vectra GSi, Chevrolet Lumina, Vxl Astras

It'll be allright in the end. If it isn't allright it isn't the end

I'm in two minds whether to remove the 'X5' part of the rear badges, just leaving the ///M50d part, as there are too many badges for my liking. Anyone else done the same?

I agree, there are too many. I reckon removing the ‘X5’ might be a decent option.

I was hoping that someone here had done it, and has some pictures!

Here’s a slightly crude mock-up of how it might look, albeit on a black car.Image

Shame they had to put such ‘in your face’ badging on.  I’m sure it could have been a little more discreet...
