WOW  wasn't expecting that photo    not need to worry about window tints  lol

I've got dark tints in mine all round except the front screen..

Black vehicle, black leather... Black trim... and with the dark tints, it looks like Puff-Daddy's drug dealing car...

I don't think the front side windows being Very dark are strictly legal, but it is nice to have some privacy without every one peeping in.

If I get pulled, I will take the film off there & then... meanwhile, enjoying the blacked out windows.

One thing I did notice was.... If I roll the drivers window half down & tip my head to one side with sun glasses over just 1 eye.... my sunglasses vision to clear window aperture is much darker than the tinted window effect, which begs the issue of legality altogether.

Cross-polarisation?  Vertical & Horizintal modes in additive perhaps?  Would limit light to a very small phase angle so cutting it out.

Well I've ordered the back set in light smoke.... Don't want to look too much like a purveyor of illicit narcotics.... Especially around my area

Now to sort the workshop space one weekend and fit them

I considered doing mine when I had it. Spoke to a local tint company who said it was difficult to instal without air bubbles & white marks around the dotted edges to rear tailgate glass. I was told that gentle use of wet and dry levels these and reduces the issue.

Funny you should mention that.... We went to visit a castle yesterday and there was a black x5 with limo black windows that had the white band around the windows where the little black dots are.... It didn't look horrific but I don't want it on my windows

Having learned the VERY hard way how to best do the X5 window tints, I'm happy to share the knowledge if any one is wanting to do their own.
