Is it causing any damage other than being annoying for 10 seconds? It's fine when the temperature over night picks up like at the moment just doesn't like frosts.

Regarding the turbo, its just a little oil from the pipes burning.
Niggles don't seem to stop! But, SUV ownership brings this, with previous experience from an XC90.
The front right brakes decided to seize and stick on the X5, so that's something that needs to be cured. That and my burnt finger from touching the (unknown to me) very hot brake disc!
Had an air spring go too and that was replaced by BMW. Have been noticing that there are more and more rear air spring failures on the forum. Have these cars got a flaw, or are they all wearing from age?
