Yeah, I'd like to know that too:) dealer status is the same - departed plant, delivery - week 13.
I believe it should be on the ship arriving Southampton 20-21 March and hopefully available for collection by the end of the month.

Any news on the delivery of your vehicle???

Yeah, was told it arrived in UK last week, but delivery to dealer is expected only 1/04. It appears that my tracking was totally incorrect because vehicle was in UK before Fedora or Elektra.
Can't wait, it's hard to know that it's in UK but still have to wait for more then a week. According to the dealer everyone is trying to get cars delivered asap to register before end of the month that is why it takes longer than expected...

At least it's here. What's so important about the end of the month then? New reg's started on March 1st, or is it around the Financial Year.

That's the interesting part. When I purchased the car I got a discount including dealer's contribution of deposit and free media pack. They salesman mentioned that offer only valid for the cars registered before 31st March.
Now he again mentioned something along the the lines that they need to register the car before 31st March to get numbers to work - which is weird because BMW website says "for cars purchased before 31st March and registered before 31st May 2011. So according to him all the rush is because every dealership wants to get new X5's registered before end of the month...

I signed contract 15/01 so I do not understand how dealer's failure to get car delivered on time can affect my agreement. I know the registration already but still waiting for a car

I was also given that flannel about registering before the end of the month!!!! I know quite a bit about how the motor trade works as I have family and friends that have worked in main dealers for some considerable time like 25 years plus!!!

Its all about monthly figures, first quarter figures and most importantly the salesman bonus! Hitting targets is all they think about not actually knowing much about the product that they are selling

In my case the car arrived on a Monday AM and I picked it up on Thursday PM.

acideraser, X5Trace, great to hear your cars are nearly with you - look forward to the pics!! Mine was originally due in early April, but to mess with me my dealer then told me there was a good chance I'd get it in March and then waited a bit before dashing my hopes and telling me 10th April! As you've been told, all down to the volume of cars they're dealing with blah blah blah ...

My car is arriving at the dealers Monday picking up Tuesday

Got a feeling this weekend is going to go really sloowww!!!

Just had a call from the dealer, my car is still in the docks in Southampton . They are concerned now and trying to find out why...

Well I am but what can I do... Would be more then happy to jump on the train and get to Southampton to pick it up myself but not sure this is actually possible (paperwork insurance etc). Dealership is interested to get all sorted before 31st to achieve their target numbers / plans etc... so they are trying to arrange private delivery and collection on 31st

I am tired of waiting, but on the other hand they informed me it takes up to 12 weeks and it's only 10th week now
