Because I had repeatedly tried it and failed. However for some reason eventually it flashed its lights and paired.

I literally followed the instructions innhe manual. Key in but on 0....hold the button down in centre arm rest. Turn key to 1 then follow pairing instructions....does it straight away now!

BMW F10 tree hugging 520d efficient dynamics. E53 X5 and Frankenstein TVR Chimaera that really wants to kill me...it will one day..

Well .... yes and no.
