unfortunately they wont fit an E70 or an E71 as the centre bores on the hubs are different !

Like I said, it is not just Snow and Ice... they perform better in Winter Conditions which means <10 degrees celcius due to the compounds, heavy rainfall (standing water) due to the improved water dispersion (large grooves), and of course snow and ice due to the veins (slits in the tread).

Personally, I'd use them too - they make a world of difference. Also, you'll be able to sell them for £400 after the winter as there's still a market for those wheels.
