Sorry, read the wrong profile the left. One of my best mates lives in Holywell!
My SD averages 28-30, depending on how I drive it. I can get just over 40 if I sit in the inside lane with the wagons with the cruise set to 56. Around town 23-24.
We have a 635d 'vert (same engine as the SD)- that's generally about 10mpg better.
I'm currently looking for a 40d, or maybe an M50d- just waiting for the right car to come along.

You won't much of an improvement with a 40d in mpg terms, but the transmission and 300+ BHP with 700Nm of torque frightens hot hatches....

I'm at c350 with the SD thanks to simon at emaps, hoping the 8 speed will help things a little, but ultimately I can live with it, it does everything so well. Seriously considering an X6 next time though.

They just frighten everybody! I followed mine home the other night (wife drives it mostly) and it looks huge! Serious road presence.

Thats one thing that I always loved about X6s, they just look massive.

Ive been contemplating a white one with black everything- unfortunately it's a 30d and doesn't have a pan roof. Looks like a stormtrooper lol

5 seat pack available from 2010 iirc- this car had it. Receiving p/ex crappy bids for mine though, now I know that main dealers won't put a car on the forecourt over 80k (straight to auction and offer auction price) I shan't bother with main dealer servicing!
