Yes, wash myself with recommended products, grit guard and lambs wool mit.

I tell you what l, it's a big bugger!

Had my E70 detailed and now wash it myself.  Along with the local use Yaris it's taking over 4 hours.  That doesn't include glass, wheels or interior yet!  It is a bugger!

4 hours  i thought my e39 touring was hard work  :))

After having the crystal serum detail, I have washed my car twice. It took 2 hours. Process:
-Jet wash
-wheel cleaner spray
-Snow foam
-Rinse off
-Shampoo
-Rinse off
-Large micro fibre towel to soak up water
-Done

It's the cleaning materials that really make this easy to do. If anyone wants to know what I used PM me

Looks lovely and rebadged all round i see. I've just ordered an m50d in carbon black and thinking i might debadge too. I like the little m on the wings but the door badges and tailgate i dont.

I got my last x5 detailed - similar process to yours before i collected it and it was well worth it. Will do the same this time.

Great decision, Carbon Black looks lovely (when clean!).

Mine was debadged from the factory. Although you don't have door badges on the 50d, I don't like the wing badges either - completely pointless - and that huge boot badge
