Ouch !! That's a big hit glad that you are all safe and sound. Good luck with finding the replacement, my insurers found mine within days of the tree squashing the first X.

So sorry Steamy, you spent many hours on her repairs too .......
Hope you get another X5 - I have just gone on to a 40d from my 4.8is (we kept the 4.8 as well) and much as I loved the E53 for many long years (and still do) the 40d is just superb and so much more refined.  I would have liked an M50d but really could'nt justify or afford the £10k + extra over and above what I paid.
Hope you are in another X5 very soon!

Excommunication followed by Transportation with no hope of return for starters..... >:(

The courts may well decide driving without due care and 3-points only because no injuries!  It looks like is should be more severe but getting CPS to charge and prosecute at that level is really difficult these days.

Most probably...

Just been provided with temp vehicle courtesy of their insurance as had stuff planned.
Bit of a beast but really missing my X5 .

Been looking for the next car but what I want appears to be few and far between.
Really considering AUC this time so won't need to drop the box as quick!!!
