:))

Slowly but surely - had mine since 2007 and gone through the options list. Go for it if you want it - not because you have to have it. My boy loves the seats... daughter too young to appreciate as she's still in the car seat.

I have lots more I can annoy/help spend your money on!  :))

Heated rear seats...Meh, you can keep em, I don't sit there! Lol
My last car i had (Honda CRV)had heated front seats and it always felt as though i'd pi***d myself when they were on!
Lots more to annoy/help spend my money on....I got a wife that does that, albeit she doesn't spend it on the X5!!!!
:)) :)) :))

Takes up too much time, too much money and I've also noticed aloud whine from their side of the car when they sit there! Could it be the tracking or a dodgy run-flat?  :))

Anyone wanna buy an ultra RARE 2006 BMW X5 3.0d Auto, has the Blind Free rear door cards!
Runs like a dream, it's just unfortunate the rear passengers will be blinded by the sun.....mind you their ar** will be cold as it lacks the heated seats also!
Lol

Okay, Here i am throwing it out into the ether! How much do these doorcards go for?
I'm looking at visiting my local BMW Scrapyard Restoration Yard and asking if they have any in stock.
Also on my list are-
Wide Arch Kit
Front bumper Spoiler.

Also, Serious Question now, Does anyone know 'owt about the uprated fan needed for towing?.....or am i just being fed a lot of hot air? (Did ya see what i did there?  :)) )

Morning Richard
My 4.6 has the Factory Tow bar (we pull a Horse Box) and looking at part numbers on Real OEM the fans appear to be the same. Mine is fitted with an after market Transmission Oil cooler though, the trans specialist who serviced my gearbox (Fluid and Filter change) told me that would help with trans life generally not just when towing the original owner obviously new something.
For what it's worth engine temperatures stays rock solid middle of the gauges (oil & water) towing or not.

I have towed glider trailer for many years in many cars, including e39 530d's, e61 520d, and now x3 30d. The only thing added if not already on the car was the towbar, and never had the slightest trouble.
ps. The x3 has sunblinds, I will try them when we get some sun.

I'm new to BMW & the X5, so still fresh with all the things it has.......and hasn't got.
I hope you enjoy the sun & your blinds and don't give me a second thought trawling through ebay and the like for those elusive blinds. Lol

Ahhhhh, that makes perfect sense! It doesn't have the sun shades because after the remap it goes that fast, not even the suns rays can catch it!.........hmmmm, not convincing myself! Lol
