Well it's fitted..... got major snags tho, needs to go back to the shop on Monday.  Guys had been at it for 9 hours but somehow they have disturbed something as I have no go no speedo, mpg gauge, tacho, ABS, 4x4 light is up and the flat tyre light is up. The CANBUS system is throwing up all sorts of errors, oh well they are specialists so they can crack on and sort it on monday  :'(

Sounds like a connector hasn't been put back on the back of the binnacle.  Might gave been knocked out when they made the changes.  I thought that the cluster unit was fairly easy to remove though, so it should be simple to check.  It's only a couple of screws?

Doesn't say much for the supplier if they gave it back in that state though!

I had similar when I unplugged the dash with ignition on..
Cardinal sin that!!

Disconnection of battery sorted mine out!!!

4x4 light may be just turn lock to lock to reset it
If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
Please note...
Anything I say is only from my personal experience and knowledge..
I don't assume to know everything, and know there is a lot I don't know..
But then I could be talking bollox.. O:-)

I needed the car back as it was getting for 6pm and needed the car for errands today , they are collecting it from my work tomorrow morning.

Will have a quick looksie in the binnacle later on cheers. Unfortunately the lock to lock thing didn't work

I have a parrot asteroid in mine. I did have the widescreen factory nav but was dated and connection options were poor. The parrot obviously has Bluetooth, USB, rear camera functions etc but I mainly went for it as it is not very deep and doesn't require any of the dash to be modified behind. I've had it in 2 years now and its never missed a beat. The only thing is it doesn't look factory but I didnt want to be messing about and have issues with the ones off ebay.

All sorted, they had disturbed a wire feeding power to the CANBUS system, now it's time to have a play  :)
