Thanks Sanj, the thing is it rides so much better on the 17s, the wife had it when it was on the 20's and when i "acquired" it i wanted it back on the 17's, I dont really want to ride round in it in its final months on a set of 20's, was really hoping someone could see past the current pics to the old ones to see what it "could" look like if tey so desired, wheels aside it truly is an amazing car for the money

Bearing in mind there is no financial compromise in your disclosure I am sure it would be intersting to others to know the p/x price given......albeit somewhat acdemic without knowing of the forward purchase margin.
Understand some dont like discussing numbers period - in any case hope you enjoy the new car.

I dont mind at all saying the price, they offered me £5k trade in, there was still a gap between me and the new car of 2k so i went up 1k and they came down 1k, whether that means it was 6k or they dropped the car i dont know
I had it for sale on here and pistonheads and ebay (on missed atuotrader) and was kinda disappointed that i didnt get one person vaguely interested, i still think it was a stunning car for 7k

Genuine thanks for sharing - useful info.
No doubt the car was in good condition. That particular colour is relatively rare, whilst I and others may like it there are some that won't buy it - perhaps down to the beige name. others said - The lost wow factor with the wheel swap (even if 17's ride softer and lighter) not helping.
Anyway onwards and upwards - hope you enjoy new car.
Thanks again for sharing.
