^^^ agreed. I've had nearly all my motors remapped by a number if different companies and have never had a problem with dealers being unable to read the ECU. None have ever come back to me with invalidated warranties or have come across the maps in that sense. My 4.8 was mapped by Jason and has since had warranty work carried out with no issues.
At the end of the day though as mentioned above, if they should find it is mapped and can get away with it then they will void your warranty for that related issue. They generally will not have an issue if te problem is. It directly related to the map hence why the wheel bearing would really be covered still in the above mentioned scenario by 535dboy.
