Don't dealers also put some kind of cleaning fluid in as well as commanding a forced regen?
Just a small note of caution. Beware of deleting the DPF as the MOT tests now look for it, and any sign of tampering you will get a fail automatically. The rules are getting tougher and if your insurers ever discover it your policy is cancelled as the vehicle is no longer legally on the road. That opens up a bigger world of pain.......
The chances of it being found may be low, but it's not worth it if it is. Technically you can't then sell the car without declaring the missing DPF, but again how often does that happen?
