The 'A' is the auto lights. Adaptives are there if written on the light unit.

I've adaptive bi-xenon and nothing is written anywhere on my headlamp assemblies....

Must have been discontinued at some point. Mine don't have it either (E71), but then it was standard on the car. Our Mini and E53 both had it there. I suppose now it's more widely used, BMW chose not to shout about it any more....???

Every other bl@@dy light on the car is LED though, inside and out.
I wonder if I will get the emissions cheat code.... O:-)
