many thanks i have registered. There are a few owners that have upgraded their software and have problems - and main dealer refuse to help. Personally i would rather pay an indy unless it is straightforward like the carly app.

In my experience with main dealers is either they won't help out or they have no idea what's required for certain retrofits.
There's a wealth of knowledge on the above coding forum that needs a great deal of reading and understanding,I'm hoping to code full voice control myself.
I don't think the Carly app can code DVDs in motion or retrofits.

I have posted a msg on that forum. I agree main dealer wont want to help unless they charge £££. Let see what the respnse is. The worst thing that can happen it that the CIC will become bricked...which i dont want

There is no reply to my msg on bmw coding website...and some sad stories of people bricking their software and main dealer wont help so you end up with a car with all the warning lights on...trade in value ?? MOT time £££

I'm not surprised being blanked out on that forum I constantly do so you ain't lost out really.
It can be coded by writing a script into the CIC software enabling the FSC code to be bypassed and you then gave voice control.
I'm just waiting for the software enhancement done first before I attempt this coding.
