Yes defiantly the mirrors only on driver side. At the moment I am in France for a week house hunting but enjoying the car.

It is not the mirror’s, it’s the shape of the screen.

How could it be just the driver’s side?

Are not both mirrors the same shape?

Interesting post regarding the X4, quite fancied one myself but too expensive to be driving and parking in the some of the 'holes I have to work in! As for the £3k premium for a coupe version of the X3, nah.
The wind noise from the door mirrors/windscreen has been mentioned in the some of the reviews, so may well be a 'design error'. Odd in this day and age where wind tunnel testing is available to even us plebs on the street if we desire ;-)
A cool looking car none the less, hope you enjoy it!

I've got one on loan at the moment while my 35d is in for warranty work. It's a 3.0d XLine. Very nice and quick, but I too noticed the wind noise that has been described. Not as planted as the E70 either, but I suppose that's down to less weight. All in all, I like it, but not sure I'd part with £40k.
