This series has surprisingly so far been quite good bar a few naff bits ( hammond acting on top of mountain ).  Will be sad if it ends as its still watchable, passes a sunday eve.

Been following Clarksons work for over 30 years and right back when he wrote "Chattels" for Jesse Crosse in the original format performance car mag.

He has evolved for sure. Whether that is for the best or not I cannot comment as I have never met him and do not know anyone who knows him. I have heard he comes across as arrogant and rude but in life I find interpersonal opinions will be subjective and varied amongst individuals.

Some challenges have been naff and/or yawn inducing, others better. The USA trip with NASCAR sucks painted on side of one of the cars arguably better than some.

With election time looming I see Cameron has spoken out...arguably showing more support than he might have for others.

Shall we start a new petition like 'bbc start a proper car show'.

Who knows - might get more votes than to reinstate JC :P

Pretty much as expected, JC's contract will not be renewed.  So that's him gone.  I wonder if all three will depart?  The other two have contracts expiring imminently and they may choose not to renew voluntarily.

So......TG with adverts then?

At least it might be quieter around Dunsfold again....

Not sure if we will get the full story but serious enough for the BBC to lose one of their most profitable shows I believe. No doubt they will get in new presenter/s to see if they can keep it going but will probably end up like American TG which is crap.

I think it will just die, you can't really copy that format without the chatacters and I think the other two will go too.

I guess the bbc are having to be super cautious these days and therefore have had to make an example of him
