I have the same 10 plate (facelift) 40d SE - had it just over a month. Love it, love it, love it, love it.

Trying to pick up some winter tyres/alloys for it at the mo. Not a massive fan of the 20" run flats.

Drives like a dream, only negative is the twin turbo doesn't put you back into your seat enough for me.
At last someone else has one too, care to share some pic's with everyone? what options/ extras did you go for?

2nd Oct is a given - I'll be the one propping up the bar just after 11am (with x555).

No idea on the date of the London one - Jason dragging his heels as usual!

What sort of time will you be setting of on the 2nd?, maybe i could catch up with the convoy :driving:

And is there anyone else heading down from these side, perhaps we could head down together?

How do you hoy pics up?

Mine was the showroom car. I was trying to get a 30d M Sport from a dealer in London via my local place (Fawdingtons of Newcastle, excellent dealer) but when he placed the order they had sold it 5 mins beforehand. Gutted, the salesman pointed to the beast that is my car, 20" run flats, full entertainment, rear camera, heated seats front and rear, platinum grey with cream interior. Managed to get me to spend a couple of grand more and I took delivery at the end of the week.

Let me know how to get the pics up and I'll give it a go
Whats the safest way for me to pay the dealer?

They wont thay wont accept it in a suitcase, damm the movies.
I had a nightmare with this

Went in to pay on debit card (£55k) and it kept getting refused. Bank blamed the dealer and the dealer blamed the bank. I went home and had a right go at the bank and made them chaps it free of charge which they did. I told the mrs about the problem and she remembers us having the same problem with the 535 (£51k) and being told at the timemthat the dealer had £50k floor limit for debit cards

If I were you i would aim to pay a good few days in advance
