Dare I ask how much a new manifold and labour is? Have seen a few guides and it seems to be extensive work.

Cost me £156 for a cast manifold (direct replacement) & £200 for my Indy to fit, he fitted it from underneath so no need to remove all the gubbins up top.

Fitted from underneath. Interesting. Would you have a link for the manifold you bought? Just about to head out now to check for any cracks with a mirror.

I'm pretty sure a few forum members have bought this one too, if your up Yorkshire way he offers a supply & fit service for about 300 quid (I think).

As for my Indy completing the work from underneath, I suppose it's easier that way with a full workshop with ramps etc.
