Another vote for the ball joints. Just had mine done and it's like a different car- I was getting a bit of light weaving at the front and traction control would flash on occasion with reasonably swift left right turns (and vice versa!) but I had them done after it was flagged on the mot and it feels really taught now and handles much better.

to be fair my ml was handling funny on last night but i think it was the strong cross winds as it was fine on the same roads today
