You will be pleased to know that all is well now. Paired it in the car without the engine running this time (previously I was in a traffic jam and could not use my phone so was trying to pair it "on the go").

I take it all back, you ubermod  :sorry:

Thanks 535  :))

Let me explain the sequence … The X5 in the last picture is the start point, first trip with the X5 with the new phone. So the phone issue was on the way back from that event, so all is relevant  :P

For some reason, it will not pair in the E70. Anyone else had an issue?
[/quote]

Apparently it's a known 'bug' and will be fixed by the release of IOS 8.1 later today (20th Oct).

It is working fine in the E70.

What is reducing dramatically, with the same use, is the battery life !!!

With the same use, I got 3 days when I got it, and now I can only get 12 hours  >:(

That's also a known bug.  My iPhone 4 has now started using power like it's going out of fashion, albeit on IOS7.  Perhaps it's approaching EOL and will have to be changed.  :(

IPad Air keeps dropping wifi.  Another 'known' feature... >:(

At least IOS 8.1 is only just over 100MB rather than the 1.6GB IOS 8 was.  :)

I have not upgraded from 8.0 yet as my son's phone on 8.1 would drop the BT connection when receiving calls (as soon as you answer it says "connection lost" , which it did not do on 8.0.

I've just found that resetting all the network settings has allowed me to at least access the web!  Another Apple balls-up!  That was supposed to have been sorted with this patch.
